More bad new for the Mets
As if the Mets weren't in enough trouble already, their bright spot of the future, Matt Harvey is facing the possibility of undergoing Tommy John surgery. The 24 year old started this year's All-Star game for the National League. The Mets, who have been in a rebuilding stage for a few years now, were banking on Harvey to be their ace for years to come. Harvey is the face of young pitching in the Major Leagues. He's already considered one of the best pitchers in the entire league. Harvey is expected to miss the remainder of this season due to a partially torn UCL in his right elbow (right handed). If he elects to have TJ he will miss the entire 2014 season. The immediate future of Harvey and the Mets drastically changed this weekend...
